Master Zheng – Biography
Master Zheng began his martial arts journey at the Shaolin Temple in 2001, dedicating himself to rigorous training—practicing through the summer’s heat and winter’s cold, year after year, day after day. He often teaches, “Only through countless trials can true martial skill be achieved.” While strengthening the body, he also emphasizes cultivating moral character and the spirit of martial virtue. Over more than a decade of disciplined practice, he mastered Shaolin boxing, grappling, combat techniques, qigong, health preservation exercises, and the eighteen traditional martial arts skills. Guided by his teacher’s principles, Master Zheng strives to live as a diligent, responsible, and grounded person, continuously honing himself no matter where he is.
International Performances and Teaching
• 2008 – Singapore: Represented the school in the Shaolin Kung Fu awakening performance.
• 2012 – Thailand: Performed and taught Shaolin Kung Fu to Princess Sirindhorn; featured in multiple Thai television interviews.
• 2016 – United Kingdom: Conducted a martial arts tour across 54 cities, performing the large-scale Shaolin Kung Fu stage drama; featured in the Edinburgh City Daily.
• 2017 – USA, Canada, Mexico: Collaborated with Beijing Zhongyan Culture Company on the stage drama “Martial Time Travel” as the lead actor; performed in 10 cities across the U.S. and interviewed by multiple Mexican TV stations.
• 2017 – Japan: Shared the stage with Japanese artists in front of over 50,000 spectators, demonstrating Shaolin Kung Fu.
• 2018 – Dubai: Performed “Martial Time Travel” at Dubai Opera House; several audience members were invited on stage to learn Kung Fu moves interactively.
During his martial arts career, Master Zheng has been invited to perform and teach in the USA, Canada, UK, Japan, Singapore, Dubai, Thailand, and Mexico.
